Pastor's Welcome

Dear Friend,

Thank you for stopping at our web site today. We are always overjoyed to have people visit us, and I hope our site will be helpful to you in answering any questions about our ministry here at Cornerstone Bible Church (CBC).

We are a small, growing, conservative Bible church in the town of Crete, Nebraska.  But even though we are small, we love our Lord Jesus Christ. Through the faithful preaching and teaching of God’s Word on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and other times in the week, we are growing, as God is making us more like His Son.

As a church, our primary goal is to glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To that end, we desire to grow in our passion for Jesus Christ, through the preaching and application of Scripture in our lives. We further desire to glorify Him by proclaiming and serving Him in our church and community. Our area is filled with people who need to know the love and hope that Jesus Christ brings. We are praying that God would use all of us in reaching them.

We also desire to be a church home for Christians moving into our area. Are you looking for a church in this area that believes, preaches, and follows the Word of God?  If so, won’t you come visit us? We are praying that CBC will become the home of many of the Lord’s people looking for a Bible-teaching church home.

We have Sunday School classes for all ages, starting at 9:00 am. This is followed by a half hour time of fellowship, with our Sunday morning worship beginning at 10:30 am. Wednesday nights at 7:00 we have our Midweek Bible Study. We also provide quality nursery care for all these services. In addition to our nursery and Sunday School, we also have children’s church during our morning services.

Thank you again for visiting our web site. We would love to meet you and to welcome you into our church family. If you have any questions concerning our ministries, or if we can be of further assistance to you, please let us know. We hope to see you soon.

In the service of our great Savior,

Pastor Doug Witzke
